WHAT IS SMP?
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP for short) is a medical, non-surgical, cosmetic tattoo that gives the illusion of a close buzz cut hairstyle on a bald head or adds density to thinning hair.

SMP FOR WOMEN:
Studies show that about 35% of women are affected by hair loss or thinning of hair by the age of 40.
Women can experience thinning hair, bald spots and alopecia. With SMP, we are able to camouflage scars on the scalp and/add density to the appearance of thinning hair through pigmented microdots simulation to the scalp.

SMP FOR MEN:
Men of all ages experience some type of hair loss during their life time, from thinning hair, male pattern baldness to complete baldness. SMP can help add density to thinning hair or completely fill the scalp with natural looking hair follicles.

IS IT PAINFUL?
Scalp Micropigmentation involves a small needle which deposits pigment into the upper dermis layer of the scalp. This procedure is NOT commonly known to be painful however clients can have some discomfort when working over thinner, more sensitive parts of the scalp such as the crown of the head and the temple.
The procedure has been described as an itchy feeling. The general clientele has rated the discomfort level on a scale of 1-10 to be roughly a 3-4 at the worst.

COST AND TIME:
The total cost of the procedure depends on how many sessions will be needed to achieve the requested density. Price Range from $300-$2500 in total.

Sessions are 2-3 hours long.

Gap between sessions is 14 days.
